Mayor Bill Laforet "Likes" a comment on his page that expresses vitriol against his own town

Mayor Laforet blocks Mahwah residents and elected officials from information he posts as mayor on Facebook and doesn't allow them to participate in forums he hosts, but he allows others to disparage our town and its leaders like in the post above.

On a post on the Mayor's page about Mahwah being among the safest places to live, former Englewood city councilman Eugene Skurnick, who called Mahwah the white trash redneck capital of New Jersey, commented, "If Hermansen is still Council President Hasidic Jews arn't [sic] safe in Mahwah." Not only did the Mayor not delete Scurnick's comment but HE LIKED IT! Don't expect a reply from President Hermansen, because he is one of the elected officials blocked by the Mayor and can neither see nor comment on the post.
