ATTENTION MAHWAH —
IT’S TIME TO UNITE & FINISH THE FIGHT
As many of you are aware, this recall effort is the SECOND of its kind launched against Mayor William Laforet. Since the first recall, Mahwah has continued to be subjected to Laforet's lies and abuse of power. His malfeasance has grown to include intentionally and repeatedly ignoring the advice of Mahwah's attorneys to undermine the pending lawsuits against the town, working with people outside the town to defame Mahwah and foment hate, and hiding a planned expansion of non-resident partisan political groups into Mahwah.
It's clear Bill Laforet doesn't care about Mahwah. PLEASE get involved and sign the petition to remove this incompetent, unethical, untrustworthy man from office!

Recalling an elected official requires old-fashioned, ink-to-paper, hand-signed signatures. There is no electronic version of this and there are no shortcuts. Every signature is critical to our success.
Recalling an elected official is a process governed by state statutes and a strict timetable. Once our petition to the township clerk is approved, we have 160 days to obtain the necessary signatures to put the question on the November ballot, “Should Mayor William Laforet be recalled?” The answer we need from the community is a resounding YES!!!!
The list of reasons to recall this man from office is never-ending. We, as a community, must come together and UNITE & FINISH THE FIGHT!! The last recall committee saw the future and tried desperately to warn the residents. We didn’t listen. This is our second chance. Let's make it count.
